Illinois Medical Marijuana was founded in 1998 by Reverend Wayne Dagit -”Sonny D,” to educate and unite residents of Illinois for the purpose of getting Medical Marijuana passed. It has passed the Senate before and was never brought into action but this time it has once again passed the Senate and SHOULD pass the House where the bill 1381 is sitting until the initiators of the bill feel they have enough yah votes to call it to the floor. SOON!

 

We keep in direct contact with the people first , then the legislative body  to keep abreast of current measures being taken to push this bill. Our direct contact and most supportive body member is Illinois Rep. Lou Lang,

Illinois Medical Marijuana is also the originator of “Friendship House”™ meetings and Lou was kind enough to appear at the Naperville Friendship House meeting Jan. 28th., giving us more insight as to what is to come and where we are in the process.

We have set Moments In Time that will be looked back on by others.

 

When the law does pass we will have physicians in Chicago for sign up referrals to the State, and hope to bus people from Peoria and Galesburg. IT WILL BE HECTIC so get your medical records in order, just ask your primary caregiver to give you a copy for “your personal records. You’ll need these stating your condition when you apply.

 

We have Reps in Illinois and our main office is in Michigan where we have been breaking ground since Medical Marijuana became legal. We have helped over 1,200 people get their cards, have 2 attending physicians who hold travel dates weekly throughout MI. and who will also be coming to IL.

We currently are in negotiations with two Illinois Physicians who are considering doing referrals for us and we hope to open an office for one to visit weekly, both in the Chicago area and Springfield.
