Illinois Medical Marijuana has been fighting for the reform of the Illinois Marijuana laws since 1986 when we first distributed over 20,000 fliers to constituents to get the law passed. It actually has passed but then immediately overturned and never implemented into law. We have continued the fist for over 10 years and this time we have direct contact with the bill proposers in the legislative body and they are fervent about their efforts. We founded “Friendship House” meetings and these educate and inform patients and the public about the true facts regarding medical marijuana and it’s medicinal proof. Once the law is passed, we hope by April, we will have a physician to do sign ups for referrals to the IL. MMJ program. We will also be supplying inventory to dispensaries and are affiliated with agents who have plans to open the first dispensaries and are within our community of representatives. We will fight till the last patient is served! |
